Please read the information below carefully before you apply!
We expect all volunteers to commit to being available the entire weekend. This will begin with the training and orientation session (Friday, May 17, at 1:00pm) and go through to Sunday after the final session (approximately 1:30pm). Your registration for the Overflow weekend will be covered, as well as the following meals (Friday dinner, Saturday lunch and dinner, Sunday lunch). We expect that volunteers will be available the entire weekend and that your first priority will be your volunteer role.
Leading up to the Overflow weekend, we ask that all volunteers participate in the TOP 10 FOR 10 AT 10 – a prayer guide beginning on May 7 to lift the event up in prayer.
Volunteers must be 19 years of age or older. We will make an occasional exception if you are 18 years old. Please contact us for more information.
Volunteers are responsible for their own accommodations in the Waterloo area (visit the Hotel Guide for the accommodations listing).
Training and Orientation
Volunteer training is a necessary component of the volunteer position. Training and orientation will be on Friday, May 17, 2019, and will commence promptly at 1:00pm at the Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex (in the Hauser Haus).
The above application is a part of Overflow’s effort to organize an effective volunteer staff. Please take a few minutes to complete the form. Upon receipt and review of your application (including reference contact) you will be notified if you have been accepted to serve for the weekend. Based on the number of applications received, not all applicants may be accepted. We ask that you confirm your availability to serve (with your personal calendar, work schedule, etc.) before you apply.
