Savings

Planning ahead can save your group a lot of money. Registering early and taking advantage of the accommodation room blocks that have been reserved will result in money saved. Savings can also be realized by pre-packing and preparing food for your group. Getting creative can save your students hundreds of dollars. Check out some fundraising ideas on the website.

Chaperones

It is recommended that each church bring at least one female chaperone for every 7 girls and one male chaperone for every 7 guys. It is the responsibility of each local church to provide adequate supervision. All chaperones must be at least 19 years of age.

Leaders and sponsors are responsible for the behaviour of their youth and should know where they are at all times. Groups should sit together if possible and sponsors should sit with their youth when dispersed through the crowd.

It is vital during any ministry time that YOUR leaders minister to YOUR youth. Also, let us collectively do our best to embrace Biblical patterns of worship, prayer, and seeking the Lord.

Dress Modestly

Consideration of others is the underlying principle here. This goes for all areas of behaviour. Guys are to wear pants or shorts of reasonable length, and shirts or t-shirts. Girls are to wear pants or shorts of reasonable length, and blouse or t-shirt (no tube, halter, or other immodest tops). Please have your group members bring APPROPRIATE clothing. Many varied Christian backgrounds are represented at this event. You will want your group to be a blessing rather than a stumbling block. Let Romans 14:13-19 be a guide.
